Welcome to Marvelkay Designs. By accessing or using our services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. Consultations
- All clients are required to book a consultation before services can commence.
- Consultations may be conducted virtually or in person and attract a non-refundable fee, as outlined in our Price Guide.
- A custom sketch or illustration will be provided after consultation. We do not recreate exact replicas of other designers’ work.
2. Orders & Payments
- A non-refundable deposit of 80% of the total cost is required to begin production.
- The remaining 20% balance must be paid in full before pickup or delivery.
- Once production has started, all payments are non-refundable.
- For advance bookings, the 80% deposit secures your production slot and prevents overbooking.
3. Production Timeline
- Standard production time is 4–6 weeks, depending on garment complexity and order volume.
- Rush orders may be accepted at our discretion, subject to a 30% surcharge on the total cost.
4. Fittings & Measurements
- On-site clients are entitled to one fitting session.
- Virtual clients will receive a video preview of their garment in skeleton form before final detailing begins.
- Accurate body measurements are required for all clients. Out-of-town clients must attend a virtual measurement session. A measuring tape is required for this process.
- Any errors resulting from incorrect measurements provided by the client are the client’s responsibility.
5. Alterations & Changes
- Minor alterations may be possible depending on the stage of production. Major changes after production has begun may attract additional charges.
- Final alterations requested after delivery are the responsibility of the client.
6. Delivery & Shipping
- Local deliveries within Nigeria are handled by trusted logistics partners. Charges vary based on weight and destination.
- International deliveries are fulfilled through DHL, with an estimated delivery time of 4–14 business days.
- Delivery costs are borne by the client and must be settled before dispatch.
- Marvelkay Designs is not responsible for delays caused by couriers, customs clearance, or unforeseen shipping disruptions.
7. Intellectual Property
- All sketches, designs, and finished garments remain the intellectual property of Marvelkay Designs.
- Unauthorized reproduction, duplication, or resale of designs is strictly prohibited.
8. Cancellations & Refunds
- Consultation fees and deposits are non-refundable.
- Orders cannot be canceled once production has begun.
- Refunds are not issued for completed or shipped garments.
9. Liability
- Marvelkay Designs is not liable for allergic reactions, damages, or dissatisfaction caused by misuse, negligence, or failure to follow care instructions provided with the garment.
- Clients are responsible for providing accurate information during consultations and fittings.
